signing up
Open MOODY, tap create an account, pick your @, then enter your email and a password. We email you a 6-digit code from noreply@moody.li with the subject VERIFY. Enter it in the app and you're in.
Your password needs at least 8 characters, with a lowercase letter, an uppercase letter, a number and a symbol.
didn't get the code?
- Check your spam or junk folder for an email from noreply@moody.li.
- Make sure the email address you typed is right.
- Tap resend code. You can ask for a new one after 60 seconds.
- Codes work for 15 minutes.
signing in
Sign in with your @handle or your email, plus your password. The @ is already there, so just type your handle.
After 10 wrong passwords in a row for one @, signing in with that @ pauses for 15 minutes. You can still sign in with your email, or reset your password.
forgot your password?
On the sign-in screen tap forgot password? and enter your email. We send an email with the subject RESET PASSWORD. Tap CHOOSE A NEW PASSWORD on your phone, MOODY opens and you set a new one. The link works for 15 minutes.
change your email or password
Go to your profile, tap profile, then scroll to email and password. For a new email we send a code (subject CONFIRM) to the new address.
moody on the web
Your profile is also on the web at moody.li/your-handle. Sign in there with the same @ or email and password to edit your profile, post, comment, like, follow and see your insights. Dm's and the feed stay in the app.
notifications
Turn MOODY notifications on or off in your iPhone's Settings → Notifications → MOODY. Focus modes work as usual.
report or block someone
Long-press a post, comment or message and choose report. On someone's profile, tap ··· to report or block them. Blocked people can't message you or see your posts. We look at every report within 24 hours.
delete your account
Go to your profile, tap profile, scroll to the bottom and tap nuke account. This permanently deletes your account and everything in it. It can't be undone.
