MOODY is run by Martin Walser, Liechtenstein (contact: moody@moody.li). This page explains what MOODY stores, why, and what you can do about it. We keep it short and only collect what the app needs to work.

what we store

MOODY has no ads and no tracking or analytics tools. We never sell your data or share it for advertising.

why we store it

Only to run MOODY for you: to sign you in, show your profile and posts to the people your settings allow (in the app and at moody.li), deliver messages and notifications, and keep MOODY safe (reports, blocks and the word filter). The legal basis is our contract with you (the terms) and, for safety, our legitimate interest in keeping MOODY free of abuse.

who sees what

service providers

These companies process data for us, only to run MOODY:

Some providers may process data outside the EEA. Where they do, they use the safeguards the GDPR requires, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

how long we keep it

As long as your account exists. Deleting a post, comment or message removes it. When you delete your account, everything in it is deleted. Reports are kept to keep MOODY safe, but without your account once it's deleted.

delete your account

In the app: your profile → profile → nuke account. This permanently deletes your account, profile picture, posts, comments, likes, me too's, follows and messages.

your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, deletion or a restriction, and you can object to processing, at any time by emailing moody@moody.li. You can also complain to the Liechtenstein Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzstelle Liechtenstein).

age

MOODY is for people aged 16 and over. If we learn that someone younger has an account, we delete it.

changes

If this policy changes, we update it here and change the date at the top. For important changes we tell you in the app.
